Board Members

The 2010 board of directors includes

CRAIG WILLIAMS (President):
A transplant from the Northwest Orchid Society in Seattle, Craig is an avid grower of Paphs, Neofinetias and other species. He is currently a student in the AOS judging system. Craig is co-chairing the 2010 Oregon Orchid Show with Michael Jenne.

CHRIS HOWARD (Vice-President):
Chris grows orchids indoors and enjoys the "task" of photographing each bloom that comes along. He is currently the OOS webmaster as well.

JOSHUA PETERSON (Treasurer):
Joshua's orchid experience includes being the owner of Ohlala Orchids, a specializer in supplying orchids for residential and business settings.

MICHAEL JENNE (Newsletter Editor):
A grower of orchids for many years, Michael's first experience with Orchid Societies was in the Corvallis society. He is co-chairing the 2010 Oregon Orchid Show with Craig Williams.

DIRECTORS

JANE WEISSMAN:
Jane is a "neophyte" at orchid growing but enjoys painting them as they will sit still for as long as it takes!  She currently serves as the secretary of the Oregon Orchid Society board.

JAMIE HARDY:
Jamie is relatively new to orchid growing and offers a fresh perspective to the hobby and our society.

NAOKI KAWAMURA:
Naoki is an experienced orchid grower who grows mostly Vandas, under lights, in a complex set up in his garage.
